The Leonardo da Vinci programme is part of the “Lifelong learning” European
programme. It plays an important role in preparing European citizens for
entering the labour market, thereby reducing the unemployment.
The mobility measure of the Leonardo da Vinci programme provides students with a
possibility of vocational training abroad.
Since 2000, Nexes has been hosting participants from different countries (Italy,
Greece, France, Germany, Sweden, Hungary, Great Britain, Norway, Turkey,
Portugal, Estonia, etc.). Thanks to its large network of collaborators, Nexes
offers a complete hosting programme, accommodation in flats, work placements
research, sociocultural integration programme, monitoring of the project, etc.
Stay: 3 weeks to 9 months.
Countries: Members of EU plus Island, Liechtenstein, Norway,
Bulgaria, Rumania and Turkey.
Target: persons undergoing initial vocational training, higher
education students, young workers, job seekers and recent graduates.
Conditions: to be in a process of vocational guidance and
training, not to repeat LdV.
