European Projects
Nexes develop, within different European Programmes, international projects that promote mobility and intercultural learning. These projects provide to young people and experts from European countries and worldwide an opportunity to travel, get to know other cultures, exchange knowledge and experiences, develop professionally, initiate interesting contacts at local and international level and, at the same time to be more conscious about their own identity. Nexes also offers to associations, institutions and other organisations counselling on a wide range of European programmes and organises training modules and courses within the non formal education field.
Leonardo da Vinci
Linguistic and vocational training: work placement in a European country. Duration: from 3 weeks to 6 months.
Youth Exchanges
Meetings of youths from different countries. An intercultural and non formal education experience.
European Voluntary Service
An opportunity for youths to participate as a volunteer in local activities in another country.
European Voluntary Service

The European Voluntary Service projects give youths an opportunity to establish cooperation and friendship with persons form different places and contribute actively to the development of a community different from their own as well as promote equality of opportunity. They offer a possibility for youths between 18 and 30 years of age to carry out a voluntary activity during 6 to 12 months in another country, not only EU members, as an experience of non formal education and intercultural learning.
The volunteer dedicates their time and energy to work on a local project collaborating with a non profit organisation within many different fields: environmental, art and culture, activities for children, youths and the elderly, sport promotion, etc.
I exchange, the volunteer receives accommodation, travel costs refund, language course, medical insurance, maintenance and pocket money for their expenses. All these while s/he develops different aptitudes, acquires professional and personal skills (facing a different environment, customs and culture, learning a new language and different ways of work) and builds his own future.

Nexes is a sending and hosting organisation for European volunteers coordinates a hosting project of Consell Comarcal del Barcelonés at “Centre Europa Jove” in Santa Comloma de Gramanet as well as the hosting project  of  Casal dels infants del Raval in Barcelona.
