Project “Cameras of the world” in Nepal

Nexes, Campaign for Change Nepal and Fotoprix just reached an agreement to implement a project "Cameras of the world" in Nepal in 2012.

The project foresees an action of collection of used digital cameras in Fotoprix stores during Christmas 2011, and then in the spring 2012 the implementation in Kathmandu (Nepal) of a social photography course and a capacity building training of young community leaders, for a group of 30 young people coming from rural areas.

The photographic narrative by young people of Nepal will be transformed into an exhibition, which topics will be chosen by themselves. This exhibition will be a window for these young photographers to explain to the world, with images and words, their lives and their vision of reality.
